Swedish-owned global furniture manufacturer and supplier, AJ Products, has introduced their first office chair, the HURRAY, designed to become an ergonomic icon of the future. In collaboration with the Italian manufacturer Linea Fabbrica, specialists in design, function, and ergonomics, AJ Products thoroughly researched the anatomy and principles of sitting to develop the HURRAY chair. The result is a chair that combines essential, user-friendly features, a comfortable seating experience, and an attractive design.
Helen Beebe, Managing Director of AJ Products UK, spoke about the new HURRAY chair: “Our goal in designing our first office chair was to create an optimal ergonomic office chair for the future. With many offices now sharing desk space, the HURRAY chair also needed to be simple to adjust, allowing for maximum comfort for everyone. The HURRAY chair features a distinctive tapered upper back design that allows for full shoulder movement, promoting better blood circulation. It also includes a slightly wrap-around backrest for enhanced wellbeing. The backrest is shaped to follow the natural S-curve of the spine, providing additional support. Moreover, it can be adjusted to deliver support where it is most needed, ensuring a comfortable seating experience.
The HURRAY chair offers quick and easy adjustments to ensure proper posture. Two levers control the mechanism to achieve optimal sitting positions and correct knee alignment, while the 4D adjustable armrest helps to relax tense shoulder and neck muscles.
The HURRAY chair is available in six colours of replaceable and washable upholstery, with the option of either a low or high backrest.
