Infinigate Iberia, a leading technology platform and trusted advisor in cybersecurity, cloud, and network infrastructure, has announced an exclusive partnership with Barracuda Networks Inc, a global provider of cloud-first security solutions. This partnership will see Infinigate Iberia distribute Barracuda’s comprehensive portfolio of cybersecurity solutions to channel partners across Iberia.

The agreement, effective September 10th, 2024, will provide Infinigate’s customers with access to Barracuda’s innovative products that protect customer data and automate incident response for comprehensive and efficient cyber-threat protection. Barracuda’s solutions cover the main attack surfaces, including email, networks, applications, and data, and are trusted by hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide.

According to Reinaldo Rodriguez de Asevedo, Managing Director of Infinigate Iberia, the partnership with Barracuda will bring great growth opportunities for the region. He stated, “Together, we can generate great shared growth in the region, benefiting our channel partners through a valuable addition to our portfolio. The Barracuda suite of cybersecurity solutions will enable them to differentiate, gaining competitive advantage, offering customers a high level of reliability and security.”

Miguel Lopez, Regional Sales Director, Iberia at Barracuda, also expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “The agreement with Infinigate will help us to accelerate our channel growth in Iberia. Infinigate is the perfect distribution partner for us, thanks to their cybersecurity specialism, channel reach, expert support, and range of professional services. We are committed to helping channel organisations offer their customers the multi-layered, defense-in-depth security they need in today’s rapidly evolving threat landscape.”

The partnership between Infinigate Iberia and Barracuda comes at a crucial time, with the escalation of cyber-attacks in terms of frequency and sophistication. Infinigate’s customers can now benefit from multi-vector protection to safeguard their data and networks against ransomware, account theft, and data breaches. This protection encompasses email, web applications, remote access connections, and vulnerable web browsers.

The Infinigate Group, which covers over 100 countries across EMEA, Australia, and New Zealand, has seen significant growth in recent years, with a revenue of 2.3B€ in the 2023-2024 financial year. The company’s focus and deep technical expertise in cybersecurity, secure networks, and secure cloud for SMB and enterprise have set them apart. In addition, the Infinigate Group has expanded its reach through the acquisition of companies such as Starlink, Vuzion (now Infinigate Cloud), Nuvias, and Wavelink, which added coverage for the Australian and New Zealand market in 2024.
