Secure Network Administration (SecureNA), Durham’s premier provider of IT and cybersecurity services, is proud to announce a transformative partnership with the Women’s Business Centre of North Carolina (WBCNC). This collaboration aims to provide women entrepreneurs across North Carolina with essential tools, knowledge, and strategies in IT and cybersecurity to help them establish resilient and successful businesses.

The Women’s Business Centre of North Carolina (WBCNC), a key initiative of The National Institute of Minority Economic Development, is dedicated to driving economic empowerment in diverse communities. Focused on fostering women’s financial independence, WBCNC provides resources to establish, strengthen, and grow businesses while encouraging sustainable development within local economies.

Through this collaboration, SecureNA will contribute to WBCNC’s mission by offering workshops, bespoke consultations, and strategic insights that prioritise IT stability, cybersecurity resilience, and the effective use of technology in business growth. The shared vision is to empower women entrepreneurs to thrive in a secure and confident manner.

Kimberly Simon, CEO of Secure Network Administration, shared her thoughts on the initiative: “At SecureNA, we’re passionate about empowering businesses to thrive by providing the technology and security they need to grow. Partnering with WBCNC allows us to extend our expertise to a community of innovators and creators, helping them achieve their goals while safeguarding their businesses against modern cyber threats.”

Erica Vazquez, Executive Director of WBCNC, highlighted the value of the partnership: “A strong foundation in technology and cybersecurity is vital for business success. This collaboration allows us to equip women entrepreneurs with the IT and cybersecurity knowledge they need to grow their businesses confidently and securely, including insights on leveraging AI effectively.”

Workshops Launching January 2025

To kickstart this initiative, SecureNA and WBCNC will host a series of monthly workshops in the first quarter of 2025. Topics include:

22 January 2025 – Cybersecurity Fundamentals: Protect your business against common threats.
19 February 2025 – Harnessing AI for Business: Leverage AI tools securely to enhance operations.
19 March 2025 – Backup and Disaster Recovery: Ensure continuity in the face of IT disruptions.

These sessions will provide participants with valuable, actionable guidance to improve their businesses and foster long-term success.

By working together, SecureNA and WBCNC aim to create a lasting impact on women-led enterprises, strengthening their capacity for innovation, resilience, and economic growth in a secure environment.
