Coventry’s Heart of England Co-operative Concert Orchestra to Host Family Concert in Support of Local Food Banks
On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Coventry’s Heart of England Co-operative Concert Orchestra will be hosting a family concert that is not to be missed. The event, which is proudly sponsored by the Heart Of England Cooperative Society, promises to be a delightful selection of holiday classics and orchestral favourites. The concert will take place at 3pm on December 7th at Heart of England School, Gipsy Lane, Balsall Common, CV7 7FW.
One of the highlights of the concert will be the possible appearance of Santa himself, who may make time in his busy schedule to join in on the festivities. All funds raised from the concert will go towards supporting the important work of Balsall Common Lions in providing aid to local food banks during the Christmas season.
The orchestra, now in its 106th year, has been bringing music to Coventry since 1917 and has a long history of supporting various charities. Last year, they raised over £1860 for charities such as Coventry and Warwickshire Mind, UNICEF, and Global Care.
Tickets for the concert are priced at £11 for adults, £8 for concessions, and £1 for children under 16. Each ticket includes a complimentary drink and slice of cake.
