Infinigate Cloud, a division of the Infinigate Group specializing in secure cloud solutions, has announced that it will be offering Barracuda Networks’ award-winning Email Protection and Cloud Backup security solutions to its channel partners in the UK, Ireland, and Germany. This move will provide channel partners with flexible, subscription-based access to Barracuda’s innovative cybersecurity protection.
Through Infinigate Cloud’s marketplace, channel partners will have easy access to Barracuda’s Email Protection, which uses machine learning to detect and prevent email-based cyber threats. Additionally, partners will have access to Barracuda’s Cloud-to-Cloud Backup, which ensures the backup of Microsoft 365 data and provides efficient recovery from malware attacks.
The demand for email security services continues to rise as cyberattacks become increasingly prevalent. In a 2023 study commissioned by Barracuda, it was revealed that 75% of organizations surveyed had experienced at least one successful email attack in the previous year. The cost of these attacks was reported to be over $1 million USD on average for the most severe cases.
Jason Howells, VP channel, EMEA at Barracuda, commented on the partnership, stating, “Cyber-threats affect all types and sizes of organizations, across all business sectors. Organizations and the channel partners that support them need security products that are not just highly effective, but are also easy to buy, deploy and use. The monthly subscription services will initially be available in the UK and Ireland, with plans to expand to Germany in the coming weeks.
